INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 42-42) beat St. Paul (Twins), 9-8, on a walk-off two-run home run by 1B Michael Chavis in the bottom of the ninth. It was the ninth homer of the season for Chavis (.294), who went 1 for 4 with two runs scored. LF Ka’ai Tom, beginning a rehab assignment as he recovers from a back injury, went 1 for 2 with a home run. 3B Phillip Evans (.471) went 2 for 4 with a double and scored twice. SS Cole Tucker (.246) went 1 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. RHP Max Kranick (5.74) gave up four runs on five hits, including two homers, in five innings. RHP Keury Mella (1-0, 0.00) pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the win.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 46-37) outslugged Erie (Tigers), 11-7. CF Matthew Fraizer (.450) went 3 for 5, hit his first Double-A home run, drove in three and stole a base. 2B Diego Castillo (.276) went 2 for 5 with his 14th homer run. SS Connor Kaiser (.193) went 1 for 3 and hit his fourth home run, a three-run shot. 1B Mason Martin (.255) went 1 for 5 with a double. RF Jack Suwinski (.317) was 1 for 2 with three walks, a double and two runs scored. LHP Omar Cruz (2-2, 3.43) allowed one run on two hits in six innings, striking out six.

GREENSBORO (High A, 53-32) edged Winston-Salem (White Sox), 5-4. 1B Will Mathiessen (.193) went 1 for 4 with a three-run home run, his sixth, in the first inning. SS Andres Alvarez (.268) went 1 for 2 with a walk and an RBI. 2B Nick Gonzales (.270) and 3B Jared Triolo (.301) each went 1 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Grant Ford (7-2, 4.76) threw six innings, surrendering two runs on five hits with eight strikeouts. RHP Will Kobos (2.33) struck out the side in the ninth for his third save.

RHP Nick Garcia (4.20) started and gave up five runs on three hits, including two home runs, in 5.1 innings. RHP Wandi Montout (4-0, 6.75) pitched 1.2 scoreless innings to earn the win. LHP Nick Dombrowski (0.00) pitched two scoreless innings for his first save.
