INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 50-59) dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Nashville (Brewers). In the first game, an 8-0 Nashville win, RHP Roansy Contreras (0.00) started and pitched three scoreless innings, allowing one hit, walking two and striking out two. RHP John O’Reilly (4.09) and LHP Rob Zastryzny (5.27) each pitched two scoreless innings. Then RHP Yohan Ramirez (1-1, 5.12) was torched for seven runs, six earned, on one hit and four walks in two-thirds of an inning. 2b Ji Hwan Bae (.200) went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. SS Chris Owings (.235) went 1 for 3 with a triple.

In the second game, a 7-1 Nashville win, RHP Jared Jones (2-2, 5.44) was touched up for six runs on four hits and four walks in three innings. RP Duane Underwood Jr. (6.63) pitched two innings, allowing one unearned run, and RHP Hunter Stratton (4.59) threw two scoreless frames. 1B Mason Martin (.214) went 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored. C Grant Koch (.238) went 1 for 2 with a walk and an RBI.

Next: Friday vs. Nashville (Brewers), 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 49-53) was held to three hits in a 2-0 loss to Erie (Tigers). RHP Braxton Ascraft (1.35) started and threw three scoreless innings, allowing one hit. LHP Omar Cruz (1-3, 4.83) allowed one run in two innings to take the loss. RHP Michell Miliano (15.00) worked three innings, allowing only a solo homer. RHP Cameron Junker (3.51) pitched a scoreless ninth. CF Chavez Young (.220) went 1 for 3 with a double and his 11th stolen base.

Next: Friday vs. Erie (Tigers), 6 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 55-47) beat Greenville (Red Sox), 8-7, on a sacrifice fly by SS Jack Brannigan (.328) in the 10th. Brannigan went 1 for 4 and added his seventh home run, a two-run shot. 1B Jase Bowen (.264) went 1 for 5 and hit his 21st homer. C Shawn Ross (.205) went 3 for 5 with a pair of homers, his ninth and 10th. CF Tres Gonzalez (.284) also went 3 for 5. 2B Termarr Johnson (.133) went 1 for 4 with a walk and a run scored. RHP Bubba Chandler (5.11) started and allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits in three innings. LHP Cy Nielson (3-2, 4.08) earned the win with 2.1 scoreless innings, including stranding the automatic runner in the bottom of the 10th.

Next: Friday at Greenville (Red Sox), 7:05 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 60-44) blasted Fort Myers (Twins), 15-8. CF Lonnie White Jr. (.269) went 3 for 4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. C Geovanny Planchart (.237) went 2 for 4 with a three-run homer, his third, and four RBIs. 1B Omar Alfonzo (.231) went 1 for 4 with his third homer, a two-run shot, and three runs scored. SS Mitch Jebb (.356) went 1 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI. RHP Jorge Ramos (2-0, 3.95) pitched two scoreless innings of relief to earn the win. RHP Elijah Birdsong (5.44) got the final four outs for his sixth save.

Next: Friday at Fort Myers (Twins), 7 p.m.
