Pirates farm report for Aug. 13, 2025: Hunter Barco pitches 4 scoreless in Indy loss

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 67-48) lost 6-5 to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Yankees) when RHP Eddy Yean (6-5, 3.06) gave up two runs in the bottom of the ninth. LHP Hunter Barco (3.70) started and pitched four scoreless innings, allowing three hits and no walks with five strikeouts. RHP Jack Little threw 1⅓ scoreless innings and RHP Wilkin Ramos (0.00) pitched a scoreless seventh. SS Cam Devanney (.276) went 3 for 5 with a run scored. CF Ji Hwan Bae (.294) went 3 for 4 with two doubles and two runs scored. C Brett Sullivan (.193) went 1 for 3 with his third homer and a walk. RF Matt Fraizer (.303) went 1 for 4 with a run scored and RBI. 1B Rafael Flores (.211) went 1 for 5 with an RBI and two strikeouts.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 53-56) fell 10-6 to Richmond (Giants). RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.220) went 1 for 4 with a three-run homer, his second with the Curve. DH Termarr Johnson (.257) went 2 for 4 with a walk and run scored. 1B Nick Cimillo (.228) went 2 for 4 with his 13th homer, a two-run shot, a double and a walk. 2B Mitch Jebb (.263) went 1 for 4 with a double and run scored. LHP Dominic Perachi (10.24) started and lasted 3 ⅔ innings, giving up six runs on six hits, including two homers. LHP Tyler Samaniego (0-1, 3.78) gave up one run on one hit in 1⅓ innings and took the loss. RHP Valentin Linarez (3.33) pitched two scoreless innings.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 76-33) lost 7-4 to Greenville (Red Sox). CF Will Taylor (.229) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his seventh. LF Lonnie White Jr. (.219) went 1 for 4 with his 11th homer. 2B Sammy Stafura (.103) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. RF Shalin Polanco (.222) went 1 for 3. The rest of the team went 0 for 17. RHP Hung-Leng Chang (5-5, 5.44) started and went two innings, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts. RHP Joshua Loeschorn (3.00) threw two no-hit innings of relief.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 51-59) beat Palm Beach (Cardinals), 6-5, on an RBI double by CF Edward Florentino (.248) in the top of the 11th. SS Yordany De Los Santos (.249) went 2 for 4 with a run scored, RBI and three stolen bases to run his total to 46 for the season. LF Estuar Suero (.182) went 1 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. 1B Eddy Rodriguez (.200) went 2 for 3 with two doubles, two walks and an RBI. RHP Matt Ager (5.12) started and allowed three runs on four hits and five walks in 4⅔ innings. RHP Greiber Mendez (3.84) pitched 2⅓ innings of scoreless relief. RHP Jose Garces (2-4, 3.80) allowed one unearned run on two innings to earn the win.
