Pirates farm report for Aug. 14, 2025: Termarr Johnson collects 4 hits in Altoona win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 68-48) outslugged Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Yankees), 9-6. SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.224) went 4 for 5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. 2B Alika Williams (.263) went 3 for 5 with his fifth homer, two runs scored and two RBIs. RF Nick Yorke (.276) went 3 for 5 with a run scored and RBI. 3B Cam Devanney (.278) went 2 for 5 with a run scored, RBI and stolen base. LF Jase Bowen (.286) went 1 for 4 with a double, run scored and RBI. 1B Nick Solak (.355) went 1 for 5 with two runs scored and an RBI. LHP Nick Dombkowski (7.29) started and lasted four innings, allowing four runs on six hits with five strikeouts and no walks. RHP Sean Sullivan (2-2, 3.09) gave up two runs on five hits, including a homer, in three innings to earn the win. RHP Dauri Moreta (2.41) pitched two scoreless innings with three strikeouts to earn his first save.

CF Mitch Jebb (.262) went 1 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. 3B Kervin Pichardo (.202) went 2 for 4 with a walk and an RBI. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.221) went 1 for 4 with a walk, stolen base and two runs scored. SS Javier Rivas (.147) went 1 for 5 with a run scored and RBI. LF PJ Hilson (.313) went 2 for 4 with a walk, run scored and RBI. RHP Wilber Dotel (5-7, 4.41) started and went six innings, allowing one run on five hits, including a solo homer, with no walks and six strikeouts. RHP Brandan Bidois (1.17) pitched two no-hit innings. LHP Jaden Woods (4.99) worked a scoreless ninth with three strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 77-33) blanked Greenville (Red Sox), 8-0, with four pitchers combining on a six-hit shutout. LHP Connor Wietgrefe (3.54) started and gave up five hits in four innings with a walk and five strikeouts. RHP Jaycob Deese (7-3, 3.86) followed with two no-hit innings to pick up the win. RHP Alexis Torres gave up one hit and struck out three in two innings. RHP JP Massey (6.98) pitched a perfect ninth. SS Sammy Stafura (.156) went 2 for 3 with a double, four RBIs and a stolen base. 1B Callan Moss (.400) went 2 for 4 with his third homer. 2B Keiner Delgado (.242) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his 13th. CF Konnor Griffin (.319) went 1 for 3 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI. C Derek Berg (.235) went 1 for 2 with two walks and three runs scored.

RHP Carlos Castillo (3.60) started and went 4 ⅔ innings, allowing two hits and two walks with six strikeouts. LHP Magdiel Cotto (1-0, 2.25) came on for the next 1⅓ innings to earn the win. RHP Adolfo Oviedo closed it out with a three-inning save, his second, allowing two hits and no walks with three strikeouts. CF Edward Florentino (.250) went 1 for 3 with a homer, his ninth, and a walk. 3B Brent Iredale (.111) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. LF Josh Tate (.167) went 1 for 5 with a run scored, 1B Richard Ramirez (.239) went 1 for 4 with a run scored, and C Edgleen Perez (.207) went 1 for 3 with a run scored and a walk.
