Pirates farm report for Aug. 15, 2025: Matt Fraizer delivers winning RBI in 10th for Indy
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 69-48) beat Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Yankees), 6-5, on an RBI single by RF Matt Fraizer (.309) in the top of the 10th. Frazier went 3 for 5 with two doubles, two runs scored and his 14th stolen base. CF Ji Hwan Bae (.291) went 1 for 5 with a triple, run scored and two RBIs. 1B Nick Yorke (.278) went 2 for 5 with an RBI and his 13th stolen base. 2B Alika Williams (.264) went 1 for 2 with a walk and two RBIs. RHP Johan Oviedo (2.63) started and went five innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on four hits, including two homers. He walked two and struck out seven. RHP Ryder Ryan (4.10) pitched two no-hit innings. RHP Jack Little (1-0, 0.00) worked a scoreless ninth to pick up the win and RHP Eddy Yean (3.00) threw a scoreless 10th for his seventh save.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 55-56) scored one in the sixth and two in the seventh to rally for a 5-4 win over Richmond (Giants). 2B Termarr Johnson (.268) went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI. 1B Nick Cimillo (.226) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his 14th. CF Mitch Jebb (.264) went 2 for 5 with a double and run scored. DH Kervin Pichardo (.203) and SS Javier Rivas (.158) each went 1 for 4 with a double and run scored. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (3.73) started and went 5⅓ innings, allowing four runs on four hits, including a homer, with four walks and four strikeouts. LHP Cy Nielson (3-2, 4.03) and RHP Landon Tomkins (0.00) each pitched 1⅓ scoreless innings. RHP Justin Meis (2.73) worked a perfect ninth for his sixth save.

RF Lonnie White Jr. (.225) went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored, an RBI and his 22nd and 23rd stolen bases. SS Konnor Griffin (.319) went 1 for 3 with a walk, run scored, RBI and two stolen bases, running his season total to 58. 3B Keiner Delgado (.243) went 1 for 3 with a walk, run scored, RBI and his 21st and 22nd stolen bases. 2B Sammy Stafura (.167) went 1 for 4 with a run scored and RBI. RHP Carlson Reed (4.66) started and went 3⅔ innings, allowing three runs, two earned, on two hits and four walks. LHP Julian Bosnic (5-2, 3.69) earned the win despite giving up three runs on two hits and three walks in two innings. RHP Jake Shirk (2.04) pitched two no-hit innings and RHP Jack Carey (3.99) worked a scoreless ninth for his third save.
