ALTOONA (Double-A, 56-56) beat Richmond (Giants) 2-0 as four pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout. LHP Blake Townsend (1.75) started and gave up two hits with no walks and three strikeouts. RHP Po-Yu Chen (5.63) allowed two hits and three walks in 2 ⅔ innings, earning the win. RHP Michael Walsh (0.00) pitched two no-hit innings and LHP Tyler Samaniego (3.57) worked a no-hit ninth with two strikeouts for his first save. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.232) went 2 for 4 with two RBIs. 2B Mitch Jebb (.264) went 1 for 3 with two walks and two runs scored. SS Kervin Pichardo (.204) went 1 for 4 with a double. CF PJ Hilson (.304) went 1 for 4 with a triple.
