Pirates farm report for Aug. 17, 2025: Edward Florentino's RBI single in 10th lifts Marauders

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 69-50) allowed a six-run inning and fell to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Yankees), 7-5. CF Matt Fraizer (.308) hit a two-run homer. RF Ji Hwan Bae (.290) doubled and scored. 1B Nick Solak (.354) as 1 for 4 with two RBIs. 3B Alika Williams (.269) was 2 for 4 with a run scored. LF Jase Bowen (.267) was 2 for 3 with a walk and run scored. RHP Drake Fellows (7-5, 5.12) took the loss after allowing seven runs on eight hits with two walks and five strikeouts in five innings.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 56-56) lost 6-5 to Richmond (Giants) on a walk-off single. 1B Nick Cimillo (.223) hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the top of the eighth. He leads all Double-A players in extra-base hits (17) since the all-star break. SS Javier Rivas (.190) was 2 for 4 with a two-run homer. C Omar Alfonzo (.214) had an RBI single. 2B Duce Gourson (.228) was 1 for 4 with two runs scored. RHP Antwone Kelly (2.70) started and allowed two runs on five hits in 2 1/3 innings with a walk and three strikeouts. LHP Jaden Woods (5-4, 5.19) took the loss after giving up two runs on two hits with two walks and a strikeout in 1 2/3 innings.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 79-34) fell 11-7 to Greenville (Red Sox). 1B Callan Moss (.373) was 2 for 4 with a solo homer. C Easton Carmichael (.158) blasted a two-run home run. LF Titus Dumitru (.242) also hit a solo home run. CF Lonnie White Jr. (.224 as 1 for 5 with a two-run double and run scored. SS Konnor Griffin (.325) was 2 for 5 with an RBI. LHP Victor Cabreja (0-1, 15.00) allowed five runs on five hits with two walks and four strikeouts in three innings and took the loss.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 53-61) edged Palm Beach (Cardinals), 3-2, in 10 innings. CF Edward Florentino (.265) was 2 for 5, including a game-winning RBI single in the 10th inning. LF Jhonny Severino (.200) also knocked in a run. DH Yordany De Los Santos (.249) was 1 for 4 with a walk and two runs scored. 1B Eddy Rodriguez (.194) was 1 for 4. LHP Reinold Navarro (16.20) started and allowed one hit and one walk with six strikeouts in two scoreless innings. RHP Noah Takacs (2-3, 3.91) earned the win after tossing two scoreless innings of relief, allowing two hits with two strikeouts.
