Pirates farm report for Aug. 19, 2022: Cal Mitchell, Mike Burrows headline Indy win
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 56-57) scored three in the seventh to beat Iowa (Cubs), 3-2. LF Cal Mitchell (.322) went 2 for 3 with a double and a three-run homer, his seventh. RHP Mike Burrows (4.31) started and threw five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and one walk and fanning six. LHP Joe Jacques (3-1, 4.58) worked two scoreless of relief to earn the win. RHP Eric Hanhold (3.40) pitched a scoreless ninth for his eighth save. 3B Diego Castillo (.279) and CF Travis Swaggerty (.265) each went 1 for 4 with a run scored.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 56-56) rallied from four runs down in the first inning for a 6-5 win over Harrisburg (Nationals). 3B Andres Alvarez (.230) went 1 for 4 with his 19th home run. DH Aaron Shackelford (.251) was 2 for 4 with his 23rd homer. 2B Endy Rodriguez (.375) went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. C Blake Sabol (.274) went 2 for 4 with a double, a triple and two RBIs. LF Fabricio Macias (.266) went 3 for 4. 1B Malcom Nunez (.267) was 2 for 4. RHP Jeffrey Passantino (2-1, 3.71) gave up one run on four hits in two innings of relief to earn the win. RHP Bear Bellomy (6.60) worked a scoreless ninth for his first save.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 47-62) and Rome (Braves) were rained out. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Saturday.

RHP Valentin Linares (3-8, 4.13) started and gave up three runs on four hits and two walks in 4.2 innings. He struck out four.
