LF Billy McKinney (.272) went 1 for 3 with his third home run. 3B Jose Rojas (.248) went 1 for 3 with his 20th homer. RHP Mike Burrows (0-1, 6.14) started and was touched up for four runs on seven hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in 3⅓ innings. He surrendered two home runs. RHP Connor Sadzeck (4.17) pitched two scoreless innings and LHP Geronimo Franzua (5.24) threw a scoreless ninth.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 44-56) smoked Richmond (Giants), 9-3. Newly acquired Isiah Kiner-Falefa (.500) went 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored in the first game of a rehab assignment (knee). He played the first four innings at shortstop and the rest of the game at second base. RHP Bubba Chandler (6-7, 3.70) started and went seven innings, allowing one run on three hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. RF Yoyner Fajardo (.307) went 3 for 5 with a triple, two runs scored and three RBIs. 2B Tsung-Che Cheng (.232) went 3 for 5 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. C Abrahan Gutierrez (.233) went 2 for 5 with a triple and three RBIs.

LHP Connor Oliver (0-8, 6.07) allowed four runs, three earned, on six hits in five innings to take the loss.
