INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 56-64) knocked around Iowa (Cubs), 9-4. RF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.248) went 2 for 5 with a run scored and an RBI. LF Ryan Vilade (.262) went 2 for 4 and drove in a pair. SS Jared Triolo (.296) went 1 for 3 with two walks and three runs scored. 3B Domingo Leyba went 1 for 5 with a double and two runs scored. C Eli Koch (.252) went 3 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI. LHP Cam Alldred (5.30) started and went five innings, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks with six strikeouts. RHP Hunter Stratton (4-4, 4.27) got two outs to pick up the win. RHP Wil Crowe (6.14) pitched a scoreless ninth.

Next: Thursday vs. Iowa (Cubs), 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 54-59) hammered Akron (Guardians), 8-1. LF Matt Fraizer (.256) went 4 for 5 with two runs scored and an RBI. DH Joe Perez (.333) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his fourth with Altoona. SS Andres Alvarez (.24) went 2 for 5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. 1B Will Matthiessen (.132) went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs. RHP Aaron Shortridge (9-7, 4.56) started and worked five innings, allowing one run on three hits and four walks. LHP Geronimo Franzua (4.70) threw two scoreless innings and LHP Tyler Samaniego (5.23) and RHP Noe Toribio (4.50) each pitched a scoreless frame.

Next: Thursday vs. Akron (Guardians), 6 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 62-51) gave up three runs in the eighth and two in the ninth to lose 6-5 to Rome (Braves). SS Jack Brannigan (.320) went 2 for 4 with an RBI. 1B Josiah Sightler (.253) went 1 for 4 and drove in a pair of runs. CF Tres Gonzalez (.283) went 1 for 5 with a run scored and his 20th stolen base. 2B Termarr Johnson (.207) went 0 for 2 with two walks and his second steal. RHP Derek Diamond (4.45) started and went 7.2 innings, giving up four runs, three earned, on six hits and a walk. LHP Cy Nielson (4-3, 3.95) gave up two unearned runs on three hits in an inning to take the loss.

Next: Thursday at Rome (Braves), 7 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 65-50) managed only three hits but defeated Jupiter (Marlins), 2-1. RHP Owen Kellington (1-2, 3.63) started and pitched five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and a walk. RHP Brandan Bidois (2.37) pitched two scoreless innings to pick up his fourth save. 1B Juan Jerez (.203) went 2 for 4 with a stolen base and a run scored. SS Mitch Jebb (.300) went 1 for 3 with a walk. 3B Yordany De Los Santos (.186) wore the golden sombrero, going 0 for 4 with four strikeouts.
