Pirates farm report for Aug. 23, 2024: Thomas Harrington fans 6 in 6 innings in Indy win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 59-61) beat Columbus (Guardians), 6-2. Thomas Harrington (2-1, 3.09) started and went six innings, allowing one run on two hits with no walks and six strikeouts. C Henry Davis (.310) went 2 for 5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. 2B Nick Yorke (.330) went 2 for 3 with a double, two walks, a run scored and an RBI. CF Jack Suwinski (.165) went 2 for 5 with a double. 3B Jose Rojas (.248) went 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. SS Liover Peguero (.251) went 1 for 4 with a double and an RBI. RHP RHP Isaac Mattson (3.26) pitched a scoreless ninth.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 49-69) beat Richmond (Giants), 6-1. SS Kervin Pichardo (.265) smacked a solo homer. LF Sammy Siani (.259) was 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. 3B/1B Jackson Glenn (.193) was 1 for 4 with two RBIs. LHP Dominic Perachi (1-2, 5.81) allowed one run on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts in six innings and earned the victory.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 65-51) shut out Asheville (Astros), 4-0. RHP Carlson Reed (1-0, 0.48) allowed one hit and one walk with 10 strikeouts in six innings to earn the victory. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (3.34) picked up the save after tossing three scoreless innings of relief, allowing one walk with six strikeouts. DH Termarr Johnson (.238) was 2 for 4 with a solo homer and double. 2B Mitch Jebb (.253) was 1 for 3 with two RBIs. 3B Kalae Harrison (.165) also knocked in a run.
