Pirates farm report for Aug. 27, 2024: Jhonny Severino hits for cycle for Bradenton

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 60-63) got past Louisville (Reds), 4-3. RHP Mike Burrows (3.27) started and pitched four scoreless innings, allowing three hits and one walk with five strikeouts. SS Liover Peguero (.251) went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer, his 12th. LF Matt Gorski (.245) went 2 for 4 with a two-run shot, his 19th. 2B Nick Yorke (.336) went 2 for 3 with a double. C Jason Delay (.284) went 1 for 3 with a double and a run scored. LHP Michael Plassmeyer (4-9, 7.50) threw 2⅔ scoreless innings, allowing three hits, to earn the win. RHP Connor Sadzeck (3.93) worked 1⅓ scoreless innings, allowing one walk, to collect his fifth save.

RHP Grant Ford (3-2, 4.18) pitched two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk, to earn the win. RHP Jack Carey (3.61) threw two scoreless innings, walking two, to pick up his eighth save. 1B Nick Cimillo (.202) went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. DH Yoyner Fajardo (.306) went 2 for 4 with a double.

RHP Zander Mueth (1-2, 4.02) started and went five innings, allowing one unearned run on one hit and two walks with three strikeouts. RHP Khristian Curtis (4.21) went the rest of the way to pick up his first save, allowing one unearned run on four hits in four innings. He walked none and fanned four.
