INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 64-42) crushed Iowa (Cubs), 12-4. DH Ronny Simon (.301) was 3 for 6 with a double and five RBIs, including a three-run homer. 2B/LF Nick Yorke (.277) was 3 for 6 with two RBIs, including his seventh homer of the season. 3B Cam Devanney (.276) was 2 for 4 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored. SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.225) was 2 for 2 with two walks, two RBIs and two runs scored. 3B/2B Alika Williams (.259) hit a solo homer. LHP Nick Dombkowski (6.81) started and allowed one run n four hits with two strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings. LHP Blake Townsend (1-0, 0.00) earned the win after giving up two hits with strikeout in 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

RF Jase Bowen (.257) was 2 for 5 with a double and RBI. 2B Mitch Jebb (.252) doubled and scored twice. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (3.79) gave up two runs on four hits with a walk and three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings. RHP Justin Meis (3-3, 2.63) earned the win after giving up two hits with four strikeouts in two scoreless innings of relief.
