INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 49-55) fell 10-8 to Toledo (Tigers). LF Billy Cook (.288), who the Pirates recently acquired in a trade with the Orioles, was 3 for 5 with three RBIs, including a two-run homer and a double. RF Edward Olivares (.245) was 3 for 5. 1B Seth Beer (.313) doubled in two runs. C Jason Delay (.306) was 1 for 3 with an RBI. 2B Nick Yorke (.313) was 1 for 3 with a walk and run scored. RHP Thomas Harrington (7.94) allowed five runs on six hits with a walk and four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. RHP Connor Sadzeck (2-2, 4.47) took the loss after giving up two runs on two hits with a strikeout in one inning of relief.

Next: Tuesday at Nashville (Brewers), 7:35 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 44-58) managed 16 hits but lost 9-7 to Richmond (Giants). 1B Nick Cimillo (.239) was 2 for 5 with three RBIs and hit his 19th home run of the season. 2B/1B Jackson Glenn (.177) also homered. LF Sammy Siani (.248) was 2 for 5 with two RBIs, and hit an RBI double. C Abrahan Gutierrez (.246) was 3 for 5 and had an RBI single. RF Yoyner Fajardo (.308) was 2 for 4 with a triple and three runs scored. SS/2B Kervin Pichardo (.264) was 2 for 5 with a triple and RBI. CF Jase Bowen (.236) also had three hits. LHP Jaden Woods (3-3, 8.22) allowed four runs on six hits with two strikeouts in one inning and took the loss.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 59-42) split two seven-inning games of a doubleheader with Winston-Salem (White Sox). Greensboro won the continuation of a game 6-1. RF Lonnie White Jr. (.174) was 1 for 2 with two RBIs. 2B Mitch Jebb (.237) went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored. 1B Josiah Sightler (.209) was 2 for 3 with an RBI. SS Maikol Escotto (.210) and C Geovanny Planchart (.218) also knocked in runs. RHP Valentin Linarez (2-0, 2.81) earned the win after 1 2/3 innings of no-hit relief with one strikeout.

In the second game, Greensboro lost 3-2. C Shawn Ross (.188) was 2 for 3. DH Jebb (.239) and CF P.J. Hilson (.271) had singles. 2B Termarr Johnson (.244) was 0 for 4. LHP Julian Bosnic (1-3, 4.38) took the loss after giving up a run on one hit with two walks in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 41-61) lost to Palm Beach (Cardinals), 5-4. 3B Yordany De Los Santos (.250) was 2 for 5 with an RBI. RF Miguel Sosa (.196) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. CF Shalin Polanco (.176) went 2 for 4. DH Jhonny Severino (.200) and 1B Justin Miknis (.162) also knocked in runs. RHP Clevari Tejada (6.00) allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits with a walk and strikeout in four innings. RHP Garrett McMillan (3-4, 2.92) took the loss after allowing two runs on two hits with three strikeouts in two innings of relief.
