Pirates farm report for Aug. 6, 2025: Antwone Kelly, 2 relievers combine on 2-hitter for Curve

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 65-44) lost 5-4 to Omaha (Royals). LF Ronny Simon (.311) went 3 for 5 with a run scored, RBI and his 27th stolen base. 1B Nick Solak (.365) went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI. RF Matt Fraizer (.291) went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. RHP Drake Fellows (7-4, 4.40) started and lasted five innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, including a homer. RHP Colin Holderman (6.08) and RHP Beau Burrows (0.00) each threw a scoreless inning of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 51-52) defeated Hartford (Rockies), 1-0, when 1B Nick Cimillo (.219) walked with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. Three Curve pitcher combined on a two-hit shutout. RHP Antwone Kelly (2.29) started and went five innings, giving up two hits and two walks with four strikeouts. RHP Valentin Linarez (3.59) and RHP Brandan Bidois (3-0, 1.35) each pitched two innings of no-hit relief. Altoona managed three hits, singles by DH Kervin Pichardo (.208), C Omar Alfonzo (.188) and LF PJ Hilson (.333).

GREENSBORO (High-A, 73-30) scored twice in the top of the ninth to beat Asheville (Astros), 3-2. SS Konnor Griffin (.323) went 3 for 5 with an RBI single in the seventh and an RBI double in the ninth. He scored the winning run on an RBI single by 3B Keiner Delgado (.245). 1B Callan Moss (.316) went 3 for 5 with a double. CF Will Taylor (.241) went 2 for 5 with a run scored and two stolen bases. RHP Peyton Stumbo (2.55) started and threw four scoreless innings, allowing one hit and one walk with three strikeouts. RHP Joshua Loeschorn (4.00) pitched a scoreless fifth. RHP Jaycob Deese (6-2, 3.30) worked a scoreless eighth to pick up the win and RHP Jarod Bayless (2.49) pitched a perfect ninth to earn his second save.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 47-57) lost 7-4 to Lakeland (Tigers). SS Yordany De Los Santos (.250) went 1 for 4 with a double, run scored and two RBIs. 3B Ethan Lege (.218) went 1 for 4 with an RBI and his eighth stolen base. 2B Jhonny Severino (.204) went 1 for 2 with two walks and a run scored. RF Ian Farrow (.231) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. RHP Matt Ager (1-6, 5.06) started and was touched up for five runs on five hits and three walks in two innings. LHP Magdiel Cotto (2.89) and RHP Jack Noble (6.23) each pitched a scoreless inning.
