Pirates farm report for Aug. 7, 2025: Konnor Griffin belts 15th homer in Greensboro win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 66-44) doubled up Omaha (Royals), 4-2. RF Jase Bowen (.667) went 2 for 3 with a double and homer in his Triple-A debut. 3B Alika Williams (.262) went 1 for 3 with his fourth homer. SS Cam Devanney (.272) went 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI. C Brett Sullivan (.196) went 1 for 3 and drove in a run. LHP Hunter Barco (3.98) started and threw four one-hit scoreless innings, walking one and striking out four. RHP Michael Darrell-Hicks (2-0, 7.53) pitched a scoreless fifth to pick up the win. RHP Colin Holderman (6.28) gave up one run on two hits in the ninth to earn his first save.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 51-53) lost 10-5 to Hartford (Rockies). C Omar Alfonzo (.214) went 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs. 1B Duce Gourson (.198) went 2 for 3 with a double, two walks and two runs scored. 2B Mike Jarvis (.211) went 1 for 2 with a double and two RBIs. LF Tres Gonzalez (.259) went 2 for 3 with a walk and a run scored. Jarvis and Gonzalez both pitched with each recording one out. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.227) went 2 for 5. LHP Dominic Perachi (0-1, 7.50) started and was touched up for five runs on three hits and two walks in an inning. LHP Cy Nielson (4.25) pitched two scoreless innings and RHP Justin Meis (2.54) threw 1⅔ scoreless innings.

RF Ivan Brethowr (.250) went 2 for 4 with a triple, walk and run scored. 3B Keiner Delgado (.244) went 1 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. C Derek Berg (.211) went 1 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI. RHP Hung-Leng Chang (5.25) started and was tagged for five runs on eight hits, including two homers, in 4 ⅔ innings. RHP Carlos Jimenez (3-3, 4.17) pitched 1⅓ no-hit innings with two strikeouts to earn the win. RHP Jack Carey (4.05), RHP JP Massey (7.36) and LHP Inmer Lobo (2.31) each threw a scoreless inning. Inmer recorded his first save.

RF Estuar Suero (.286) went 2 for 4 with a walk, three runs scored and his first stolen base. CF Edward Florentino (.259) went 1 for 5 with his 22nd stolen base and a run scored. RHP Carlos Castillo (4-4, 3.81) started and pitched six scoreless innings, allowing two hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. RHP Jose Garces (4.07) got the final two outs for his third save.
