INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 9-6) lost 3-1 to Louisville (Reds) in 10 innings. RF Gregory Polanco (.300) had an RBI double in the sixth inning, giving him five RBIs in the five game with the Indians. RHP Jesus Liranzo (0-2, 9.00) took the loss after allowing the go-ahead runs in the 10th on a two-run single.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 8-8) swept Richmond (Giants) in a doubleheader. The Curve shut out the Flying Squirrels in both games, allowing just two hits. Altoona scored two fifth-inning runs on a fielder’s choice followed by a fielding error to win Game 1, 2-0. RHP James Marvel (2-1, 1.99) threw seven scoreless innings with two strikeouts and a walk. In Game 2, CF Jared Olivia (.263) hit a single, driving in 2B Mitchell Tolman (.186) with the eventual winning run as the Curve won 1-0 in eight innings. RHP Beau Sulser (2-0, 0.00) got the win, and RHP Matt Eckelman (0-0, 0.00) picked up his third save.

BRADENTON (High-A, 12-5) defeated Jupiter (Marlins), 3-2. The Marauders scored two in the bottom eighth inning to go ahead for good. SS Adrian Valerio (.204) doubled home C Raul Hernandez (.186) to tie the score 2-2. Travis Swaggerty (.193) followed with a sacrifice fly to provide the winning run. RHP Ryan Valdes (1-0, 0.00) picked up the win after pitching a scoreless eighth inning. RHP Aaron Shortridge (2-0, 1.17) recorded six strikeouts through six but got a no-decision. LF Chris Sharpe (.265) and RF Cal Mitchell (.306) had two hits each. RHP Drew Fischer (0-0, 0.00) earned his second save.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 8-8) beat Delmarva (Orioles), 8-4. The Grasshoppers were scheduled to play the Shorebirds in a doubleheader after being rained out Friday night, but Game 1 was postponed to a later date after another rain delay. Greensboro hit four home runs, including two in the second inning from RF Brett Kinneman (.189) and 1B Mason Martin (.193). CF Lolo Sanchez (.358) went 3 for 5 with a double, triple and two runs along with a stolen base. RHP Steven Jennings (1-2, 6.75) was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts, two walks and two runs in five innings. RHP Nicholas Economos (1-1, 0.77) struck out five in two relief innings.
