Pirates farm report for games of May 17, 2019
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 21-17) won 6-5 over Norfolk (Orioles). DH Trayvon Robinson (.354) had a two-run homer and three RBIs. 1B Will Craig (.248) hit his 11th homer this season, a solo shot in the fourth. LF J.B. Shuck (.571) doubled. RHP Eduardo Vera (2-3, 5.52) got the win, allowing five runs on six hits with three strikeouts in seven innings. RHP Dovydas Neverauskas (0-0, 1.32) recorded his fourth save this season.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 20-20) lost to Harrisburg (Nationals), 7-5. RHP Scooter Hightower (2-4, 5.63) went three innings with six runs allowed on seven hits, two strikeouts and two walks. Hightower gave up two-run and three-run homers before being pulled. LF Logan Hill (.299) was 3 for 5 with a double and three RBIs. C Jason Delay (.355) was 2 for 3 with a solo home run.

BRADENTON (High-A, 22-18) lost 9-1 to Palm Beach (Cardinals). Both teams left 15 runners on base. Bradenton relied on just two pitchers despite allowing nine runs. RHP Max Kranick (1-5, 5.50) gave up five runs on seven hits in four innings with six strikeouts and three walks in the loss. RHP Luis Nova (0-0, 6.75) threw the last four innings in relief of Kranick. Nova allowed three earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts and three walks. LF Chris Sharpe (.250) was 3 for 4 with two doubles. CF Travis Swaggerty (.256) went 2 for 5 with a triple. C Deon Stafford (.222) knocked in the lone Marauders run.

GREENSBORO (Low-A, 25-14) won 8-3 over Lakewood (Phillies). Four players hit home runs for the Grasshoppers. DH Patrick Dorrian (.246) was 3 for 4 with a fifth-inning two-run shot. 1B Mason Martin (.231) also had a two-run homer in the fifth as part of a five-run outburst. LF Fabricio Macias (.223) and C Grant Koch (.222) had solo homers. Koch’s shot also came in the fifth. RHP Alex Manasa (4-0, 3.55) allowed three runs in seven innings with eight strikeouts and a walk to remain on unbeaten after eight starts.
