INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 31-30) defeated Omaha (Royals), 4-3, in a game called after five innings because of rain. 1B T.J. Rivera (.261) had a single and two RBIs. SS Dee Strange-Gordon (.258) also knocked in a run with a double. LF Bligh Madris (.266) also had an RBI. LHP Daniel Lynch (5.92) allowed one run on two hits with six strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 33-27) lost to Binghamton (Mets), 4-3. LHP Trey McGough (3.38) allowed one run on four hits with four strikeouts in a career-high seven innings. RHP John O’Reilly (1-3, 5.97) allowed three runs in the eighth inning and took the loss. CF Jonah Davis (.223) and DH Canaan Smith-Njigba (.276) each homered. Davis and 2B Josh Bissonette (.190) each had two hits.

GREENSBORO (High A, 37-26) was blanked 6-0 by Rome (Braves). The Grasshoppers managed just four hits, including two from SS Jared Triolo (.270). CF Matt Gorski (.213) doubled and walked twice. 3B Andres Alvarez (.300) also singled. RHP Santiago Florez (0-1, 5.40) allowed three runs on four hits with three walks and three strikeouts in five innings in defeat.

BRADENTON (Low A, 41-21) rolled past Daytona (Reds), 11-1. CF Hudson Head (.203) hit a two-run home run, his ninth of the season. C Kyle Wilkie (.250) had two hits, including a solo home run in the ninth inning. 2B Francisco Acuna (.278) was 2 for 5 with two RBIs. DH Yoyner Fajardo (.326) also had two hits and two RBIs. RHP Domingo Gonzalez (3-3, 4.25) allowed one run on four hits with 10 strikeouts in six innings to earn the win.
