Pirates farm report for July 15, 2023: Alika Williams' 3 hits, homer not enough for Indy
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 41-47) dropped an 8-3 decision to Omaha (Royals). 2B Alika Williams (.301) was 3 for 4 with a solo home run. C Endy Rodriguez (.268) was 2 for 4 with two doubles. RF Miguel Andujar (.364) knocked in his 63rd run of the season. 1B Aaron Shackelford (.232) was 1 for 4 with an RBI. LHP Cam Alldred (5-2, 4.40) took the loss after allowing three runs on three hits with two walks and a strikeout in two innings.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 39-41) had its game against New Hampshire (Blue Jays) suspended by rain with New Hampshire leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second inning. The game will be resumed at 12:05 Sunday.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 39-41) was shut out 3-0 by Brooklyn (Mets). The Grasshoppers managed just three hits. 1B Will Matthiessen (.238) had a triple. SS Mike Jarvis (.232) and RF Sammy Siani (.222) had singles. RHP J.P. Massey (1-2, 4.70) took the loss after allowing two runs on two hits with three walks and three strikeouts in two innings.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 47-35) beat Dunedin (Blue Jays), 5-4, on a walk-off in the ninth inning. After C Geovanny Planchart (.240) walked, pinch runner Deivis Nadal stole second and then came around to score the winning run on a throwing error by the catcher and fielding error by the center fielder. DH Josiah Sightler (.500) was 1 for 3 with two RBIs. CF Shalin Polanco (.243) doubled in a run. LF Lonnie White Jr. (.167) also had an RBI. LHP Yoldin De La Paz (3-0, 5.91) earned the win in relief after allowing two runs on three hits with two strikeouts in two innings.
