Pirates farm report for July 16, 2023: Termarr Johnson homers, leaves with leg cramp

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 42-47) clobbered Omaha (Royals), 11-4. 3B Vinny Capra (.271) went 4 for 4 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs. CF Chris Owings (.241) went 1 for 3 with his seventh home run. 2B Josh Bissonette (.228) went 1 for 5 with a three-run homer, his first. SS Alika Williams (.311) went 2 for 3 with his sixth home run. 1B Miguel Andujar (.365) went 2 for 5 with a run scored and an RBI. RHP Jared Jones (2-1, 5.18) started and went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits with no walks and six strikeouts. LHP Rob Zastryzny (7.71), RHP Colin Selby (3.55) and RHP Travis MacGregor (1.98) each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

DH Tres Gonzalez (.277) went 2 for 5 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI. 1B Jase Bowen (.253) went 2 for 4 with a walk, two runs scored and two RBIs. RHP Po-Yu Chen (4-5, 4.23) started and went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits with four walks and three strikeouts. RHP Yunior Thibo (5.23) and LHP Cy Nielson (3.38) each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

RHP Wilber Dotel (2-1, 2.79) started and went 5.2 innings, allowing four runs, none earned, on five hits with no walks and five strikeouts. RHP Owen Sharts (8.22) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings. LHP Miguel Fulgencio (4.91) and LHP Julian Bosnic (3.72) each threw a scoreless frame.
