LF Billy Cook (.250) had three hits, including a solo home run. 1B Nick Solak (.366) was 3 for 5 with an RBI and run scored. 2B Nick Yorke (.270) was 2 for 5 with two RBIs. CF Ji Hwan Bae (.279) tripled in a run. DH Ronny Simon (.291) was 1 for 4 with an RBI. Newly acquired 3B Cam Devanney (.273) was 1 for 4 with a walk. RHP Drake Fellows (7-2, 4.45) earned the win after allowing four hits in five scoreless innings with two walks and two strikeouts. RHP Dauri Moreta (3.00) allowed one hit in a scoreless inning of relief with one strikeout.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 43-46) dropped a 9-2 decision to Akron (Guardians). 3B Brenden Dixon (.181) hit his third homer of the season, a two-run shot, and was 2 for 3. 2B Duce Gourson (.246) had a double. DH Termarr Johnson (.249) was 1 for 3 with a walk. RF Sammy Siani (.196) was 1 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Wilber Dotel (3-6, 5.01) took the loss after allowing five runs on three hits in 1 2/3 innings with a walk and hit batsman. LHP Tyler Samaniego (5.40) and RHP Emmanuel Chapman (3.22) each threw two scoreless innings of relief with two strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 62-27) split a doubleheader against Winston-Salem (White Sox). In Game 1, Greensboro won 2-1. 2B Keiner Delgado (.247) hit a solo homer in the seventh for the winning run. SS Javier Rivas (.276) had the other RBI. 3B Jesus Castillo (.253) was 2 for 3. CF Konnor Griffin was 1 for 2 with a walk and run scored. LHP Dominic Perachi (0.00) started and allowed one hit in four scoreless innings with a walk and strikeout. RHP Carlos Jimenez (2-2, 4.38) earned the win after allowing one walk with two strikeouts in 1 1/3 no-hit innings of relief.
In Game 2, Winston-Salem won 6-0. The Grasshoppers managed just two hits — a triple by DH Will Taylor (.248) and a single by RF Shalin Polanco (.223). CF Griffin (.297) was 0 for 3 with a strikeout. LHP Connor Wietgrefe (4-3, 4.34) took the loss after giving up three runs on five hits with a walk and five strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings.

LF Andrew Patrick (.100) doubled in a run. 3B Ethan Lege (.222) had an RBI single. SS Wyatt Sanford (.239) and DH Yordany De Los Santos (.248) also collected two hits. LHP Connor Oliver (0.00), on a rehab outing, gave up one hit with five strikeouts in two scoreless innings. RHP Brennan Malone (1-0, 4.78) allowed one unearned run on two hits in one inning of relief and earned the win.
