Pirates farm report for July 24, 2025: 1st-round pick Konnor Griffin belts 4 hits in Greensboro victory
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 59-39) edged Toledo (Tigers), 3-2. 3B/1B Jared Triolo (.212) smacked a solo homer. CF Billy Cook (.256) hit an RBI groundout. RF Ji Hwan Bae (.294) walked three times and scored a run. 2B Cam Devanney (.270) had the only other hit for Indy. RHP Bubba Chandler (5-3) earned the win after allowing two runs on four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings. RHP Eddy Yean (2.38) earned his fifth save after giving a walk with a strikeout in an inning of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 44-48) beat Chesapeake (Orioles), 5-2. RHP Johan Oviedo (1-0, 2.16) allowed one run on four hits hits in his rehab outing with no walks and five strikeouts to earn the win. He threw 42 of his 63 pitches for strikes. SS Kervin Pichardo (.213) hit a two-run single. 2B Mitch Jebb (.257) tripled and scored. CF Jase Bowen (.248) was 1 for 3 with an RBI. LF Maikol Escotto (.139) also knocked in a run.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 65-27) belted 15 hits to defeat Brooklyn (Mets), 8-4, for a third straight victory. SS Konnor Griffin (.319) was 4 for 5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. 1B Geovanny Planchart (.180) was 3 for 4 with a double, RBI and run scored. 3B Keiner Delgado (.252), CF Shalin Polanco (.232) and DH Javier Rivas (.276) also had two hits. Delgado knocked in two runs. RHP Khristian Curtis (5-4, 4.56) picked up the win after allowing one run on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings.
