INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 44-52) topped Iowa (Cubs), 7-3. SS Alika Williams (.330) was 4 for 6 with two runs scored. DH Henry Davis (.305) was 3 for 6 with two doubles and an RBI. CF Matt Gorski (.252) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. C Jason Delay (.321) was 3 for 5 with a double. RF Matt Fraizer (.275) was 1 for 5 with an RBI. LF Andres Alvarez (.273) was 2 for 5 with an RBI. 1B Seth Beer (.333) and 2B Liover Peguero (.246) also knocked in runs. RHP Jake Woodford (2-5, 4.02) allowed one run on seven hits with seven strikeouts in five innings and earned the win.

Next: Saturday at Iowa (Cubs), 7:08 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 40-54) scored twice in the top of the ninth inning and picked up a 3-1 win over Erie (Tigers). 1B Carter Bins (.218) was 2 for 4 with a solo homer. DH Yoyner Fajardo (.309) and 3B Charles McAdoo (.281) also knocked in runs. CF Tres Gonzalez (.225) was 1 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Thomas Harrington (2.24) threw 5 2/3 scoreless innings, allowing four hits with two walks and five strikeouts in a no-decision. LHP Jaden Woods (2-2, 7.30) picked up the win after 1 2/3 no-hit innings of relief with four strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 57-36) lost to Asheville (Astros), 6-4. 2B Termarr Johnson (.247) hit a solo homer. SS Mitch Jebb (.241) was 3 for 5 with a run scored. LF Lonnie White Jr. (.186) was 1 for 3 with an RBI. 3B Maikol Escotto (.204) was 1 for 4 with an RBI. RHP Derek Diamond (5-3, 5.01) took the loss after allowing six runs on seven hits with six strikeouts in four innings.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 39-55) fell 8-1 to Lakeland (Tigers). RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.227) knocked in the lone run. It was his 43rd RBI of the season. C Omar Alfonzo (.260) was 1 for 4 with a run scored. DH Enmanuel Terrero (.156) was 1 for 3. LHP Anthony Solometo (0-1, 7.36) took the loss in his first start after a stint on the development list. He allowed three runs on three hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings.
