INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 45-52) triumphed over Iowa (Cubs), 8-5. SS Liover Peguero (.246) was 1 for 4 with three RBIs, including a two-run homer. C Henry Davis (.309) was 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. RF/1B Jake Lambe (.285) was 3 for 5 with an RBI and two runs scored. DH Seth Beer (.326) knocked in two runs. 1B/3B Malcom Nunez (.259) was 2 for 5. 3B/2B Alika Williams (.327) was 1 for 4 with a walk and two runs scored. RHP Luis Cessa (4-4, 4.39) gave up four runs on five hits with a walk and six strikeouts in six innings to earn the win.

Next: Sunday at Iowa (Cubs), 2:08 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 40-55) lost 5-1 to Erie (Tigers). 2B Kervin Pichardo (.260) was 1 for 4 with an RBI double. It was his 29th RBI of the season. RF Charles McAdoo (.280) was 1 for 4 with a double. 1B Nick Cimillo (.192), SS Tsung-Che Cheng (.226), and LF Dustin Peterson (.222) also had singles. RHP Bubba Chandler (5-7, 3.93) took the loss after allowing four runs on six hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 57-37) allowed three runs in the top of the ninth and dropped a 5-3 decision to Asheville (Astros). C Shawn Ross (.176) was 2 for 4 with a solo homer. LF Luke Brown (.191) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. DH Wyatt Hendrie (.167) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. SS Mitch Jebb (.242) was 1 for 3 with a walk. RF P.J. Hilson (.250) doubled. 2B Termarr Johnson (.244) was 0 for 4. LHP Cy Nielson (2-2, 2.39) took the loss after giving up three runs on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts in an inning of relief.

RHP Hung-Leng Chang (4.56) started and allowed one run on four hits with five strikeouts in six innings. LHP Connor Oliver (0-7, 6.13) took the loss after giving up an unearned run on two hits with a walk and three strikeouts in three innings of relief.
