INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 34-38) lost 10-5 to St. Paul (Twins). 2B Tucupita Marcano was 0 for 3 in his Indians debut after being acquired from the Padres in the Adam Frazier trade earlier this week. DH Christian Bethancourt (.282) was 2 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs. CF Anthony Alford (.302) was 2 for 3 and hit his 10th home run of the season. SS Cole Tucker (.222) added an RBI single. RHP Beau Sulser (5-4, 4.13) allowed eight runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and two walks in four innings and took the loss.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 40-31) earned a 5-4 win over Harrisburg (Nationals). LF Jack Suwinski (.250), acquired Monday when the Pirates traded Adam Frazier to the Padres, hit a solo home run in the eighth inning to give the Curve a one-run win. 2B Ji-Hwan Bae (.272) hit a three-run homer, and C Jason Delay (.125) was 2 for 3, including an RBI single. DH Mason Martin (.271) also had two hits. SS Diego Castillo (.274), making his Curve debut after being acquired from the Yankees in the Clay Holmes trade Monday, had two walks and was 0 for 2. RHP Osvaldo Bido (2-4, 5.40) allowed four runs on nine hits with three strikeouts and two walks in 6 1/3 innings and earned a no-decision. RHP John O’Reilly (3-3, 5.09) allowed one hit in 2 2/3 scoreless innings to earn the win.

GREENSBORO (High A, 45-29) lost 9-8 to Winston-Salem (White Sox). C Grant Koch (.205) smacked a grand slam. CF Matthew Fraizer (.312) launched his 19th home run of the season and now has 48 RBIs. 2B Nick Gonzales (.255) also hit a double and solo homer, his sixth of the season. DH Blake Sabol (.346) was 3 for 4, and SS Liover Peguero (.247) had two RBIs. RHP Santiago Florez (5-3, 6.75) allowed four runs on five hits with five walks and two strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings, earning a no-decision. RHP Austin Roberts (3-3, 3.99) took the loss after allowing one run and three hits in two innings of relief with three strikeouts.

BRADENTON (Low A, 44-29) topped Dunedin (Blue Jays), 4-3, on a walk-off in the 10th inning. 1B Ernny Ordonez (.262) hit an RBI single to score DH Endy Rodriguez (.278), who started the inning on second base as part of extra-inning rules. Ordonez had two RBIs. 2B Dariel Lopez (.249) was 2 for 4 and knocked in his 37th run this season. RHP Luis Ortiz (1-2, 3.04) earned a no-decision after allowing one unearned run on four hits with nine strikeouts in five innings. RHP Enmanuel Mejia (4-1, 0.00) struck out four batters in two innings of no-hit relief to earn the win.
