Pirates farm report for July 30, 2023: Miguel Andujar, Rodolfo Castro, Jason Delay smack 3 RBIs apiece in Indy win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 48-53) crushed Louisville (Reds). RF/LF Miguel Andujar (.354) hit a solo homer and was 2 for 5 with three RBIs. SS Rodolfo Castro (.192) was 3 for 5 with three RBIs, including a two-run homer, a double, and two runs scored. C Jason Delay (.357) was 3 for 3 with three doubles, three RBIs and three runs scored. 2B Aaron Shackelford (.232) was 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. 3B Domingo Leyba (.368) was 2 for 4. LHP Cam Alldred (7-3, 4.95) allowed two runs on four hits with two walks and six strikeouts in five innings to earn the win.

Next: Tuesday at Gwinnett (Braves), 7:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 44-48) lost 4-3 to Harrisburg (Nationals) on a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth. RF Matt Fraizer (.257) tied the game in the top of the ninth with an RBI single. He was 2 for 3. 2B Tsung-Che Cheng (.255) and 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.251) each hit solo home runs and were 2 for 4. The rest of the Curve lineup combined to go 0 for 20. RHP Aaron Shortridge (5.34) allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits with two walks and a strikeout in 5 1/3 innings of a no-decision. RHP Oliver Garcia (5-2, 4.59) took the loss after giving up one run on one hit with two walks in 1 1/3 innings.

Next: Tuesday vs. Richmond (Giants), 6 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 48-45) lost 7-2 to Winston-Salem (White Sox). 3B Francisco Acuna (.321) was 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. CF Tres Gonzalez (.278), RF Jase Bowen (.269), 2B Jack Brannigan (.345) and SS Maikol Escotto (.208) also had singles. RHP Dante Mendoza (4-3, 3.57) took the loss in a bullpen game, allowing three runs on a hit and walk without recording an out. RHP Yunior Thibo (3.38) tossed two clean innings with a strikeout.

Next: Tuesday vs. Asheville (Astros), 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 56-39) rolled to a 7-1 win over St. Lucie (Mets). 3B Jesus Castillo (.229) was 2 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs in the leadoff spot. CF Deivis Nadal (.203) was 1 for 2 with two walks, an RBI and two runs scored. RF Rodolfo Nolasco (.202) also knocked in a run. RHP Wilber Dotel (3-1, 2.40) allowed no runs on five hits with two walks and a strikeout in five innings to earn the win.
