Pirates farm report for June 15, 2025: Konnor Griffin's homer helps Grasshoppers roll to win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 40-28) got the best of St. Paul (Twins), 7-3. SS Liover Peguero (.239) hit a two-run double, and 1B Darick Hall (.200) smacked a two-run homer, his fourth of the season, to seal the win. Hall had two hits. LF Nick Solak (.360) was 2 for 4 with an RBI. 2B Billy Yorke (.276) was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored. 3B Alika Williams (.234) was 1 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Kyle Nicolas (2-0, 4.15) earned the win after giving up one run on two hits with two strikeouts in an inning of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 28-35) rolled to a 7-1 victory over Erie (Tigers). The bullpen tossed all nine innings in the victory. LHP Blake Townsend (1.38) threw four scoreless innings, allowing one hit with five strikeouts. LHP Cy Nielson (2-2, 5.33) tossed two innings with one hit and one strikeout and earned the win. 3B Brenden Dixon (.186) singled in a run. 1B Nick Cimillo (.223) had an RBI double. DH Termarr Johnson (.241), CF Mike Jarvis (.240) and RF Hudson Head (.127) all had two hits. C Wyatt Hendrie (.148) also knocked in a run.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 42-20) pounded Rome (Baves), 10-1. SS Konnor Griffin (.407), the Pirates’ 2024 first-round pick, blasted a two-run homer and had three RBIs. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.310) was 3 for 5, including his 16h homer of the season. 3B Javier Rivas (.279) was 2 for 6 with a solo home run. LF Will Taylor (.333) was 2 for 5 with two RBIs. DH Keiner Delgado (.251) was 2 for 5 with an RBI. CF P.J. Hilson (.248) and 1B Jesus Castillo (.23) each had three hits. RHP Antwone Kelly (3.25) started and allowed one run on three hits with three walks and five strikeouts in four innings. RHP Michael Walsh (4-1, 3.18) earned the win after allowing one hit in two scoreless innings of relief with a strikeout.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 29-34) beat Jupiter (Marlins), 2-1, on a walk-off balk. 2B Yordany De Los Santos (.239) hit a solo homer, his sixth of the year. 1B Derek Berg (.228) had a double, the only other hit for Bradenton. LHP Victor Cabreja (3.38) allowed one run on five hits with a strikeout and walk in five innings. RHP Jose Garces (3.95) and RHP Adolfo Oviedo (1-1, 6.75) tossed two scoreless innings each. Oviedo earned the win.
