Pirates farm report for June 16, 2022: Oneil Cruz singles, doubles in Indy loss

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 30-31) was humbled by Gwinnett (Braves), 10-5. RHP Osvaldo Bido (1-4, 5.28) started and surrendered six runs, five earned, on seven hits, including two home runs. SS Oneil Cruz (.236) went 2 for 5 with a double. RF Travis Swaggerty (.283) was 2 for 5 with a triple and an RBI. CF Ji-hwan Bae (.300) was 2 for 5 with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored. C Taylor Davis (.237) went 2 for 4.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 29-31) was doubled up by Erie (Tigers), 4-2. LF Lolo Sanchez (.245) went 1 for 3 with a home run, his third. C Henry Davis (.150) went 1 for 5 with a double. SS Liover Peguero (.292) went 1 for 4 with a stolen base, his 14th. RHP Luis Ortiz (2-4, 5.17) started and went six innings, allowing four runs on five hits, including a homer. LHP Omar Cruz (5.59) pitched 2.1 scoreless innings, giving up one hit and striking out a pair.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 24-34) and Hudson Valley (Yankees) were postponed due to a power outage. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 27-33) pounded out 15 hits in a 12-8 win over Fort Myers (Twins). LF Angel Basabe (.226) went 3 for 5 with two runs scored and two RBIs. 2B Mike Jarvis (.236) went 1 for 5 with a home run, his second. CF Jase Bowen (.260), 1B Brenden Dixon (.222), DH Rodolfo Nolasco (.197), C Grant Koch (.226) and 3B Norkis Marcos (.154) had two hits apiece. LHP Anthony Solometo (2.08) started and allowed two runs on three hits and a walk in two innings. RHP Sergio Umana (1-0, 1.50) gave up one run on two hits in 2.2 innings to earn the win.
