RF Matt Fraizer (.278) and SS Alika Williams (.253) had singles. CF Jack Suwinski (.257) wore the golden sombrero, going 0 for 4 with four strikeouts. RHP Sean Sullivan (0-2, 5.87) started and took the loss, allowing one run on two hits and three walks with four strikeouts in three innings. RHP Kyle Nicolas (3.54) and RHP Tanner Rainey (4.50) each threw a scoreless inning.

RHP Fineas Del Bonta-Smith (2-1, 5.47) pitched three scoreless innings, allowing three hits, to earn the win. RHP Justin Meis (2.73) threw two scoreless innings, giving up one hit. RHP Beau Burrows (0.00) worked a scoreless ninth for his second save. 1B Nick Cimillo (.220) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. 3B Brenden Dixon (.182) went 0 for 2 with a walk and a run scored. RF Jase Bowen (.282) and LF Maikol Escotto (.182) each had singles.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 46-21) pummeled Greenville (Red Sox), 12-2. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.319) went 4 for 5 with a double, two home runs, two runs scored and five RBIs. He leads the South Atlantic League with 19 homers. 1B Omar Alfonzo (.262) went 1 for 4 with his 10th homer. LF PJ Hilson (.241) went 1 for 4 with his fifth home run. C Geovanny Planchart (.153) went 3 for 5 with two runs scored and an RBI. SS Konnor Griffin (.373) went 0 for 2 with two walks and two runs escorted. CF Will Taylor (.268) went 1 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs. RHP Antwone Kelly (3.03) started and went four innings, allowing one unearned run on three hits with no walks and five strikeouts. LHP Randy Labau (1-0, 0.00) pitched 1⅔ no-hit innings to record the win. LHP Tyler Samaniego pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
