DH Ji Hwan Bae (.362) was 2 for 4. 2B Andres Alvarez (.261) was 1 for 3. C Joey Bart (.500) was 0 for 1 in his rehab assignment. RF Matt Gorski (.255) doubled. In his rehab outing, LHP Martin Perez (1.80) allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits with four strikeouts in five innings. LHP Michael Plassmeyer (1-7, 8.51) took the loss after giving up a run on one hit with three strikeouts in two innings of relief.

Perez was 2 for 6. Hendrie also homered. 3B Charles McAdoo (.500), who was promoted Friday, was 2 for 4 with a two-run home run. CF Sammy Siani (.250) was 2 for 5 with an RBI. RHP Thomas Harrington (3.11) allowed two runs on five hits with a walk and three strikeouts in six innings. RHP Jack Carey (3-0, 3.75) picked up the win after giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits in 2 2/3 innings.
