Pirates farm report for June 26, 2025: Mike Jarvis guns down runner at plate to preserve Altoona win

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 43-34) was clobbered by Omaha (Royals), 17-2. RHP Thomas Harrington (4-8, 6.11) started and lasted five innings, giving up seven runs on 10 hits, including three homers. RHP JC Flowers (11.57) came on and gave up five more runs on five hits, including a homer, while recording one out. 1B Darick Hall (9.00) came in to pitch the ninth and gave up a solo home run. 2B Nick Solak (.372) went 2 for 4 with his ninth homer. 1B Malcom Nunez (.313) went 2 for 4 with a double. SS Alika Williams (.272) went 2 for 3 with a walk and run scored. LF Ronny Simon (.308) went 1 for 4 with his 12th stolen base.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 33-38) beat Chesapeake (Orioles), 3-2. RF Mike Jarvis (.252) went 2 for 4 with his 13th stolen base and two runs scored and ended the game by throwing out a runner at home on an attempted sacrifice fly. C Aaron McKeithan (.200) went 2 for 3 with a run scored and two RBIs. CF Sammy Siani (.217) went 1 for 4 with a walk and an RBI. RHP Po-Yu Chen (1-6, 4.79) started and worked five innings, allowing one run on three hits with four walks and five strikeouts. LHP Jaden Woods (4.81) came on and pitched two scoreless innings. LHP Tyler Samaniego (0.00) gave up an unearned run without allowing a hit in the eighth. RHP Beau Burrows (0.00) worked a scoreless ninth for his fourth save.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 49-21) and Greenville (Red Sox) were rained out. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Friday.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 34-37) beat Dunedin (Blue Jays) 7-4 in a game suspended Thursday due to rain. RHP Carlos Castillo (1-3, 4.73) went six innings, allowing one run on four hits with no walks and four strikeouts. RHP Adolfo Oviedo (7.01) pitched a perfect ninth for his first save. RF Eddy Rodriguez (.223) went 1 for 3 with his fifth homer. C Richard Ramirez (.286) went 2 for 3 with a run scored and RBI. 2B Wyatt Sanford (.258) went 1 for 3 with two RBIs and his 11th stolen base. LF Braylon Bishop (.209) went 1 for 3 with a double, his 18th stolen base and two runs scored. RF Ian Farrow (.195) went 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI. The regularly scheduled game was suspended in the first inning with Bradenton leading 1-0. It will be completed before Friday’s game.
