Pirates farm report for June 29, 2021: Solid start for Quinn Priester
INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 25-23) lost 9-3 to Iowa (Cubs). LHP Cam Vieaux, in his first Triple-A start of the season, gave up seven runs, four earned, on five hits in 2⅔ innings. He allowed two home runs. 1B Will Craig went 1 for 4 and hit his eighth home run. SS Cole Tucker went 1 for 3 with an RBI. He’s hitting .217.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 27-20) and Hartford (Rockies) were rained out. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at 5:05 p.m. Thursday.

GREENSBORO (High A, 28-21) was held to four hits and fell 3-2 to Bowling Green (Rays). RHP Quinn Priester started and went four innings, allowing one run on two hits, walking two and striking out seven. His ERA is 3.32. RHP Oliver Garcia gave up a run in the bottom of the ninth to fall to 3-1. LF Lolo Sanchez went 1 for 3 with an RBI and stole his 12th base. SS Liover Peguero went 1 for 4. 3B Jared Triolo and RF Matt Gorski each went 1 for 3.

BRADENTON (Low A, 33-16) throttled Fort Myers (Twins), 7-2. 3B Ernny Ordonez went 2 for 4 with a two-run home run, his second, and drove in four runs. RF Sammy Sianni went 1 for 3 with two walks and two runs scored. He hit his seventh home run. DH Dariel Lopez went 2 for 5.LF Blake Sabol went 2 for 4 with two runs scored. RHP Luis Ortiz started and gave up one run on four hits in 4⅔ innings with four strikeouts. RHP Cameron Junker pitched 3⅓ scoreless innings of relief to improve to 2-0.
