INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 34-44) shellacked Rochester (Nationals), 13-4. DH Malcom Nunez (.248) went 3 for 5 with a grand slam, his eighth homer of the season. 2B Ji Hwan Bae (.362) went 2 for 5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. SS Liover Peguero (.271) went 2 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBIs. CF Matt Gorski (.258) went 1 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. 1B Seth Beer (.267) went 2 for 5 with two runs scored and an RBI. RHP Domingo German (3-4, 5.75) started and went five innings, giving up four runs on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts. RHP Ben Heller (4.03) pitched two perfect innings with three strikeouts. LHP Justin Bruihl (2.13) and RHP Connor Sadzeck (4.26) each threw a scoreless inning.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 30-44) managed three hits – all singles – in a 3-0 loss to Akron (Guardians). DH Yoyner Fajardo (.324) and 1B Joe Perez (.234) went 1 for 4 and CF Jase Bowen (.239) was 1 for 2 with a walk. RF Charles McAdoo (.280) struck out once and walked three times. RHP Po-Yu Chen (2-7, 4.38) started and went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks with two strikeouts. LHP Tyler Samaniego (4.50) worked the last two innings, allowing no runs on one hit with six strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 45-28) scored 11 runs in the eighth inning of a 16-1 win over Jersey Shore (Phillies). SS Jack Brannigan (.216) went 1 for 6 with a grand slam, his ninth homer. C Shawn Ross (.205) went 2 for 6 with a two-run homer, his 16th. 1B Nick Cimillo (.293) went 3 for 5 with his 14th homer. DH Termarr Johnson (.225) went 4 for 6 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. He singled twice in the eighth. 2B Mitch Jebb (.209) went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI. RHP Patrick Reilly (4-4, 3.80) started and went six innings, allowing one run on three hits and three walks with three strikeouts. RHP Ryan Harbin (4.91) threw two scoreless innings and LHP Cy Nielson (2.17) worked a scoreless ninth.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 34-40) lost 4-2 to Clearwater (Phillies). RHP Mike Burrows (0-1, 9.00) on a rehab assignment as he recovers from Tommy John surgery, started and allowed three runs on four hits, including a pair of home rins, in 2 1/3 innings. He walked one and struck out four. RHP Tyler Kennedy (9.47) walked three batters and didn’t record an out. RHP Garrett McMillan (2.32) worked 3⅔ scoreless innings, giving uo two hits and no walks with six strikeouts. LHP Magdiel Cotto (2.31) threw two scoreless innings, not allowing a hit, walking one and striking out one. 2B Keiner Delgado (.252) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his sixth. C Omar Alfonzo (.263) was 1 for 3 with a run scored.
