Pirates farm report for June 4, 2025: Indianapolis wins another Carmen Mlodzinski start

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 32-25) clobbered Memphis (Cardinals), 10-3. RHP Carmen Mlodzinski (2-0, 1.15) started and went five innings, allowing two runs on four hits with two walks and a strikeout. Indianapolis has won all three games Mlodzinski has started since being sent down May 21. C Brett Sullivan went 3 for 5 with a double, triple, two runs scored, two RBIs and his second stolen base. LF Jack Suwinski (.252) and RF Nick Yorke (.271) each went 2 for 5 with a run scored and two RBIs. 3B Tsung-Che Cheng (.206) went 2 for 4 with a run scored and two RBIs. 2B Liover Peguero (.248) went 1 for 3 with a double, two walks and two runs scored. RHP Drake Fellows (3.86), RHP Isaac Mattson (2.57) and RHP Burch Smith (10.13) each threw a scoreless inning of relief.

Next: Thursday at Memphis (Cardinals), 8:05 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 24-29) managed just two singles in a 3-0 loss to New Hampshire (Rockies). 3B Kervin Pichardo (.230) went 1 for 3 with a walk. 1B Brenden Dixon (.164) went 1 for 1 with two walks. RHP Jarod Bayless (0-4, 5.48) started and lasted 2 ⅔ innings, allowing three runs on three hits, including a homer, with a walk and three strikeouts. LHP Blake Townsend (0.00) came on to pitch three scoreless innings with four strikeouts. RHP Justin Meis (3.38) threw 1⅓ scoreless innings and LHP Jaden Woods (4.81) worked a scoreless eighth.

Next: Thursday at New Hampshire (Rockies), 6:35 p.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 35-17) managed four hits, all singles, in a 4-0 loss to Hub City (Rangers). 3B Keiner Delgado (.253) went 2 for 3 with a walk. SS Javier Rivas (.302) went 1 for 4. LF Enmanuel Terrero (.222) went 1 for 3. RHP Antwone Kelly (1-1) was the hard-luck loser, allowing a solo home run and two other hits in six innings. He struck out seven and walked one. LHP Tyler Samaniego (0.00) worked a scoreless seventh and RHP Landon Tomkins (1.13) pitched 1⅔ scoreless innings.

Next: Thursday vs. Hub City (Rangers), 6:30 p.m.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 24-28) and Clearwater (Phillies) were rained out. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday.
