INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 0-1) entered the season with some buzz due to the collection of promising young arms on the roster. It lost the season opener 11-0 to St. Paul (Twins). RHP Braxton Ashcraft (0-1, 8.10) started and gave up three runs on five hits and four walks in 3⅓ innings. RHP Kyle Nicholas (27.00) was touched up for three runs on three hits and a walk in the sixth. RHP Ryder Ryan gave up two runs in 1⅔ innings. RHP Fineas Del Bonte-Smith allowed three runs on four hits in the eighth. Indianapolis managed four hits. CF Billy Cook (.250) went 1 for 4 with a double. 2B Nick Yorke (.250), 3B Malcom Nunez (.333) and SS Tseung-Che Cheng (.333) hit singles. C Henry Davis (.000) went 0 for 4.
