ALTOONA (Double-A, 8-27) gave up three runs in the sixth to drop a 4-3 decision to Akron (Guardians). RHP Po-Yu Chen (0-3, 5.46) started, went 5⅓ innings and allowed four runs on four hits, walking one and striking out a pair to take the loss. RHP Eddy Yean (3.54) gave up two hits, walked one and struck out two in 2⅔ shutout innings. LF Sammy Siani (.167) went 0 for 3 with a walk and an RBI groundout in the third inning. CF Jase Bowen (.224) went 2 for 3 with a single in the second inning, an RBI single in the fourth and a walk. RF Tres Gonzalez (.222) drove in a run on a groundout in the fourth. SS Francisco Acuna (.333) went 2 for 3 with a pair of singles.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 20-14) beat Hickory (Rangers), 2-1. DH Mitch Jebb (.210) went 2 for 4. He tripled in the second inning and scored on a single by C Geovanny Planchart (.256). SS Jack Brannigan (.212) hit a solo home run, his sixth, in the top of the third. RHP J.P. Massey (3-3, 4.82) started and allowed one run on four hits, walking three and striking out four in six innings for the win. LHP Jaden Woods (3.46) tossed two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and fanning a pair. LHP Cy Nielson (2.57) allowed one hit and struck out two in an inning for his third save of the season. 2B Termarr Johnson (.176) was 1 for 3 with a single, a walk and a strikeout. RF Charles McAdoo (.297) was 0 for 4 with two strikeouts.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 16-19) were shut out 5-0 by Tampa (Yankees). 2B Jeral Toledo (.229) hit a pair of base hits and SS Keiner Delgado (.267) slapped a single as the Marauders put together just three hits. 1B Esmerlyn Valdez (.252) was 0 for 3 with a walk and two strikeouts. RF Shalin Polanco (.134) went 0 for 4 with a pair of strikeouts. Starting RHP Ryan Harbin (0.00) went two shutout innings, walked one and fanned three. RHP Antwone Kelly (1-3, 6.11) yielded three runs on one hit, walked three, struck out three and suffered the loss. RHP Luigi Hernandez (8.53) allowed two runs on four hits, walked one and also struck out three in 1⅔ innings of relief. RHP Garrett McMillan (4.15) walked one and gave up a hit in a third of an inning.
