Pirates farm report for May 20, 2025: Termarr Johnson collects 2 hits in Altoona loss

ALTOONA (Double-A, 20-20) lost 3-1 to Akron (Guardians). 2B Termarr Johnson (.271) went 2 for 3 with a walk. 1B Nick Cimillo (.200) went 2 for 4 with a double. DH Kervin Pichardo (.290) went 1 for 5 with a double and an RBI. CF Mitch Jebb (.323) went 1 for 4 with a walk and a run scored. RHP Po-Yu Chen (0-4, 4.10) started and went 5⅔ innings, giving up one run on three hits with five walks and five strikeouts. LHP Jaden Woods (4.29) pitched a scoreless eighth.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 27-13) got hammered by Asheville (Astros), 12-3. RHP Hung Leng Chang (2-2, 6.89) started and worked five innings, allowing five runs on nine hits, including two homers. RHP Ryan Harbin (4.15) pitched 1⅔ scoreless innings of relief. The Grasshoppers managed five hits. CF Shalin Polanco (.192) went 1 for 4 with his sixth homer. C Omar Alfonzo (.210) went 2 for 3 with a walk and an RBI. SS Javier Rivas (.305) went 1 for 4 with a double and a run scored. LF Enmanuel Terrero (.250) went 1 for 3 with his fourth stolen base and a run scored.
