C Shawn Ross (.167) went 1 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. Three pitchers combined to shut out Portland for seven innings. RHP Fineas Del Bonta-Smith started and gave up one hit and two walks in two innings. LHP Blake Townsend (1-0, 0.00) allowed one hit with two walks and two strikeouts in three innings to earn the win in his first appearance of the season with the Curve after being called up from Greensboro.
