ALTOONA (Double-A, 15-31) beat Portland (Red Sox), 6-4. CF Jase Bowen (.213) went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer, his second. SS Tsung Che-Cheng (.222) went 1 for 5 with a run scored. 2B Kervin Pichardo (.229) went 2 for 4 with a run scored. RHP Sean Sullivan (1-4, 2.96) started and went five innings, allowing three runs on three hits, including a homer. He walked two and struck out six. RHP Eddy Yean (2.67) followed with two scoreless innings. RHP Justin Meis (7.56) allowed one run on two hits in two innings to pick up his second save. He struck out four.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 26-19) took care of Asheville (Rockies), 11-6. DH Nick Cimillo (.319) went 2 for 4 with a two-run homer, his sixth. 2B Termarr Johnson (.194) went 1 for 4 with a double, a run scored, an RBI and a walk. 3B Charles McAdoo (.311) went 2 for 5 with two doubles and three RBIs. LF Hudson Head (.235) was 2 for 5 with two runs scored. RF PJ Hilson (.346) went 2 for 4 with two runs scored. SS Jack Brannigan (.219) went 1 for 4 with a double, three RBIs and two runs scored. RHP JP Massey (5.97) started and allowed a solo home run in three innings. He struck out five. RHP Darvin Garcia (1-1, 4.22) came on and gave up one run on two hits in two innings to earn the win.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 20-26) lost 5-2 to Fort Myers (Twins). RHP Hung Leng Change (2-3, 3.44) started and gave up five runs on nine hits in five innings. He walked three and struck out four. RHP Tyler Kennedy (7.90) pitched a scoreless sixth and LHP Hunter Furtado (6.52) threw two more scoreless innings of relief. CF Shalin Polanco (.161) went 2 for 3 and stole his third base. 2B Kalae Harrison (.186) went 1 for 4 with an RBI.
