INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 15-18) was beaten up by St. Paul (Twins), 11-3. LHP Caleb Smith started and gave up eight runs, all earned, on seven his and four walks in 3.2 innings. 2B Nick Gonzales (.267) went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk. C Endy Rodriguez (.260) was 1 for 5 with a double. CF Chavez Young (.171) went 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBIs. SS Jared Triolo (.250) went 1 for 4 in his first Triple-A game of the season as he recovers from hamate surgery.

Next: Wednesday at St. Paul (Twins), 7:37 p.m.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 13-13) gave up seven runs in the top of the 11th and lost to Akron (Guardians), 12-6. C Henry Davis (.316) went 3 for 4 with two solo home runs, his seventh and eighth of the season, and a double. Davis has a 1.175 OPS. RHP Tahnaj Thomas (2-1, 9.00) was touched up for seven runs, six of them earned, on five hits, including a homer, in the 11th. RHP Justin Meis (6.86) of Bethel Park started and went four innings, allowing four runs, three earned, on five hits and two walks. RF Matt Gorski (.227) went 3 for 5 with a double and a solo home run, his fourth.

Next: Wednesday vs. Akron (Guardians), 11 a.m.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 17-11) held on for a 7-5 win over Jersey Shore (Phillies). RF Jase Bowen (.274) stayed hot with a two-run home run and a two-run double. 2B Tsung-Che Cheng (.278) and DH Jackson Glenn (.324) both hit RBI doubles and scored a run. CF Hudson Head (.271) hit two singles and walked. RHP Grant Ford (2-0, 3.52) threw three innings of relief for the win, allowing two runs on two hits with three strikeouts. RHP Valentin Linarez (6.62) started and allowed three runs on five hits and struck out two in three innings. RHP Will Kobos (0.00) struck out three in 1.1 innings for the save.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 16-12) dropped a 7-6 decision in 10 innings to Lakeland (Tigers). SS Termarr Johnson (.194) went 2 for 5 with a double and a single. LF Enamnuel Terrero (.323) singled, stole a base and later dropped an RBI bunt single. DH Rodolfo Nolasco (.293) walked twice and singled. Nick Cimillo (.250) came on in the 10th and smacked a pinch-hit RBI double. LHP Dominic Perachi (2.61) started and allowed one run on three hits and fanned nine in five innings of work. RHP Mike Walsh (1.93) gave up three runs, two earned, on three hits in the ninth for a blown save. RHP Ryan Harbin (0-1, 2.38) also gave up three runs, two earned, on three hits and struck out two in the 10th for the loss.
