LF Brendt Citta (.25) hit a pinch-hit two-run homer, his third, in the eighth inning. 3B Kevin Padlo (.320) went 3 for 3 with two doubles and two RBIs. RF Bligh Madris (.294) went 1 for 5 and drove in three runs. LF Blake Sabol (.342) went 2 for 4 with three RBIs. CF Jared Oliva (.266) went 3 for 6. 1B Mason Martin (.217) was 2 for 5 with three RBIs. RHP Peter Solomon (6.00) started and went three innings, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks. RHP Cody Bolton (4-2, 3.23) pitched two scoreless innings, giving up two hits and striking out two, to earn the win.

RHP Brad Case (1-3, 3.98) took the loss, allowing a single, a walk a fielder’s choice and a sacrifice fly. RHP Aaron Shortridge (5.59) started and gave up a run on four hits in three innings. RHP Cameron Junker (0.00) pitched 1.1 perfect innings, striking out three. 2B Liover Peguero (.258) went 1 for 5 with a two-run homer, his ninth. C Henry Davis (.194) went 1 for 4 with an RBI double. The Curve scored five runs on two hits in the game. They walked three times and Erie made two errors. SS Nick Gonzales (.259) went 0 for 4 with two strikeouts.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 67-62) had its season finale with Clearwater (Phillies) rained out. It will not be made up. Because of the rainout, the Marauders (38-26) finished a half-game behind Dunedin (38-25) in the Florida State League second-half standings and therefore did not make the playoffs.
