INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 67-76) roughed up Rochester (Nationals), 19-1. 2B Nick Gonzales (.280) hit for the cycle, walked and finished with five RBIs. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.276) hit a two-run home run, his 14th, doubled, singled twice and knocked in five runs. DH Ryan Vilade (.262) was 5 for 6 with a double, four singles and four RBIs. SS Vinny Capra (.291) went 3 for 5 with three singles, one of which drove in two runs. 1B Matt Gorski (.250) was 0 for 4 with a walk and an RBI. RHP Max Kranick (2.84) went three innings, allowing a solo home run and striking out three. RHP Noe Toribio (1-0, 0.00) tossed 2.2 scoreless innings and gave up a walk and a hit. RHP Chase De Jong (4.18) threw 1.1 scoreless, fanning one. RHPs J.C. Flowers (8.28) and Cody Bolton (3.94) each threw a shutout inning.
