Pirates farm report for Sept. 2, 2023: Bubba Chandler picks up 9th win for Greensboro

INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 59-70) lost 7-3 to Buffalo (Blue Jays). RHP Jared Jones (3-4) started and went five innings, giving up five runs on six hits, including a homer, to take the loss. CF Ryan Vilade (.261) went 2 for 4 with a double, run scored and RBI. SS Chris Owings (.234) went 2 for 4 and scored a run. 1B Malcom Nunez (.251) went 1 for 4 with a double and drove in a pair of runs. Indy was limited to five hits. RHP Wil Crowe (3.86) and RHP Hunter Stratton (3.99) each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 58-64) lost 3-2 to Erie (Tigers) when Luis Santana scored on a wild pitch by RHP Cameron Junker (2-5, 3.65) in the bottom of the 10th. LF Lolo Sanchez (.220) went 3 for 4 with an RBI. DH Jackson Glenn (.287) went 2 for 4 and drove in a run. LHP Tyler Samaniego (5.60) started and went 1.2 innings, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks. RHP Michell Miliano (3.21) allowed one hit in 3.1 scoreless innings. RHP Oliver Garcia (4.35) threw two scoreless frames.

CF Luke Brown (.251) went 1 for 4 with a triple and two runs scored. RF Hudson Head (.248) went 2 for 4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs.
