RHP Jared Jones (4-5, 4.72) started and went 4.2 innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on two home runs, a solo shot in the fourth and a two-run homer in the fifth. Jones finished with six strikeouts. RHP Dauri Moreta (9.39) struck out three and walked one in 1.1 innings. RHP Chase De Jong (3.90) tossed two scoreless innings and RHP Cody Bolton (3.86) threw one shutout inning. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.280) went 1 for 4 with an RBI single. RF Joe Perez (.231) was 2 for 4 with two singles. 1B Mason Martin (.227) had a base hit and finished 1 for 3. 2B Vinny Capra (.289) and 3B Domingo Leyba (.272) each went 1 for 4 with a single. SS Nick Gonzales (.281) cooled off, going 0 for 4 with four strikeouts.
