INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 76-58) suffered a 5-3 defeat at the hands of Columbus (Guardians). After Indy tied the game in its half of the ninth, RHP Beau Burrows (1-1, 5.65) came on looking to get the game into the extra innings. He walked the first batter he faced, got the next out and then surrendered the game-winning walk-off two-run homer. RHP Drake Fellows (4.65) started and went five innings, allowing one run on six hits, walked two and struck out three. RHP Justin Lawrence (9.00) gave up a run and fanned two in an inning of relief. RHP Wilken Ramos (9.00) tossed a scoreless seventh and RHP Ryan Harbin (5.63) gave up a run on one hit and walked three in the eighth. RF Nelson Velazquez (.222) went 2 for 2 with a double, a single and a run scored. C Rafael Flores (.288) went 2 for 3 with two singles, a walk, an RBI and a run scored. 1B Jase Bowen (.268) went 2 for 4 with a single and an RBI triple that he tried to stretch into an inside-the-park home run, but was thrown out at the plate. Pinch Hitter Nick Solak tied the game 3-3 in the top of the ninth with his 14th home run of the year, a solo shot.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 66-62) rolled Richmond (Giants), 8-2. SS Konnor Griffin (.314) went 0 for 1 with a walk and a run scored and was hit by two pitches, his third and fourth HBP of the series. DH Nick Cimillo (.240) went 1 for 3 with a three-run homer, his 20th. 3B Javier Rivas (.253) went 1 for 2 with his third homer. RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.272) went 1 for 4 with a double and two runs scored. C Omar Alfonzo (.220) went 1 for 3 with a double, run scored and RBI. RHP Emmanuel Chapman (3.86) started and allowed two runs on four hits in 4⅔ innings with three walks and four strikeouts. RHP Michael Walsh (1-0, 3.29) pitched 2⅓ scoreless innings to pick up the win. RHP Derek Diamond (15.19) and RHP Justin Meis (2.91) each threw a scoreless inning.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 86-41) managed one hit and lost 10-0 to Hudson Valley (Yankees) in a game shortened to eight innings by rain. SS Sammy Stafura (.143) went 1 for 2 with a walk. RHP Peyton Stumbo (1-3, 4.17) started and gave up five runs, four earned, on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 2⅓ innings. RHP Jaycob Deese (3.72) pitched two scoreless frames and RHP Carlos Castillo (0.00) threw 1⅓ scoreless innings.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 59-68) blanked Dunedin (Blue Jays), 4-0. Five pitchers combined on a five-hit shutout. LHP Randy Labaut (0.00) pitched a perfect first. RHP Levi Sterling (0.00) followed with 2⅓ innings, allowing two hits and two walks with four strikeouts. RHP Adolfo Oviedo (2-3, 5.53) worked 3⅔ innings, giving up two hits and fanning three, to earn the win. RHP Gavin Adams (0.00) and RHP Noah Takacs (3.60) finished it off with an inning each. 2B Ethan Lege (.222) went 1 for 4 with a run scored and RBI. CF Josh Tate (.203) went 1 for 3 with an RBI and his second stolen base. RF Ian Farrow (.226) went 2 for 3 with a double.
