LF Jase Bowen (.271) went 1 for 3 with a double, run scored and his third stolen base. RF Nelson Velazquez (.225) went 1 for 3 with a double, walk, run scored and RBI. 3B Mike Jarvis went 1 for 3 with a double and RBI. 1B Nick Solak (.323) went 1 for 4 with a walk, run scored and RBI. RHP Eddy Yean (3.36) started and pitched two scoreless innings, allowing two hits. RHP Chase Shugart (1-0, 2.63) gave up one run on three hits in 2⅔ innings to pick up the win. RHP Brandan Bidois (0.00) worked two perfect innings, striking out five, to earn his first save with Indianapolis.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 67-62) beat Richmond (Giants), 6-4. 3B Kervin Pichardo (.205) went 1 for 3 with a two-run homer, his eighth. DH Derek Berg (.316) went 2 for 4 with an RBI. 1B Nick Cimillo (.241) went 1 for 3 with a triple and an RBI. SS Javier Rivas (.253) went 1 for 4 with a run scored and RBI. 2B Termarr Johnson (.268) went 1 for 3 with a walk and a run scored. LHP Dominic Perachi (3-1, 5.59) started and earned the win, giving up three runs on five hits with a walk and three strikeouts in 5⅔ innings. RHP Landon Tomkins (1.80) pitched 1⅓ scoreless innings. RHP Justin Meis (2.87) struck out two in a scoreless ninth for his seventh save.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 87-42) mustered two hits in a 3-1 loss to Hudson Valley (Yankees). DH Callan Moss (.358) went 1 for 4 with a double. 1B Jared Jones (.160) went 1 for 4. RHP Hung-Leng Chang (5-7, 4.82) started and went six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits with one walk and nine strikeouts. LHP Julian Bosnic (3.51) pitched a scoreless eighth.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 59-69) lost 4-1 to Dunedin (Blue Jays). The Marauders were held to three hits. 2B Jhonny Severino (.211) went 1 for 4 with a double and run scored. 3B Brent Iredale (.214) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. CF Edward Florentino (.262) went 1 for 4. DH Tony Blanco Jr. (.267), LF Camden Janik (.266) and SS Carlos Caro (.152) each struck out three times. RHP Owen Kellington started and pitched two scoreless innings. RHP Yulian Quintana (3.96) followed and gave up one run on five hits, including a homer. RHP Pitterson Rosa (0-1, 9.00) gave up two runs on four hits in two innings to take the loss.
