INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 60-72) lost 7-2 to Toledo (Tigers). RHP Roansy Contreras (3.15) gave up a two-run home run, four total hits, and fanned four in four innings. RHP Jack O’Reilly (3-7, 5.06) gave up two hits and walked a pair while allowing a run in two innings and suffered the loss. RHP Beau Sulser (8.02) surrendered a two-run home run and finished with four runs allowed on five hits and walked three in three innings. SS Nick Gonzales (.270) and Chris Owings (.234) hit back-to-back home runs in the third inning. Gonzales finished 1 for 4 with three strikeouts and Owings went 2 for 4 with a walk and two strikeouts. LF Canaan Smith-Njigba (.255) was 1 for 4 with a single and two strikeouts. 1B Malcom Nunez (.243) wore the golden sombrero, going 0 for 4 with four strikeouts.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 59-66) rallied to defeat Harrisburg (Nationals), 5-4. CF Matt Frazier (.261) opened the scoring with a three-run home run in the first inning, his eighth, and later hit a single. RF Joe Perez (.333) hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the eighth, his seventh of the season. DH Lolo Sanchez (.222) went 1 for 3 with a single. SS Tsung Che Cheng (.260) was 0 for 3 with a walk. LHP Anthony Solometo (4.35) tossed 4.1 innings, allowed one run on two hits and struck out three. RHP Michell Miliano (2.70) struck out two, walked three and surrendered two hits in 2.2 shutout innings of relief. LHP Geronimo Franzua (8.00) came on and gave up three runs on three hits in one-third of an inning. RHP Cameron Junker (3-5, 3.53) allowed one hit and fanned one in 1.2 innings of work for the win.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 66-59) lost a pair of games to Bowling Green (Rays), a regularly scheduled game and the completion of a game suspended Tuesday.

The Grasshoppers lost 5-4 in the resumption of the postponed game. RHP Thomas Harrington (3.80) started and threw five strong innings, allowing one run on three hits, walked two and struck out seven. RHP Jack Carey (4.17) allowed a two-run homer, walked two and struck out six in two innings of relief. LHP Cy Nielson (4-5, 4.44) gave up a walk-off double in the ninth, while walking two, allowing four hits and two runs over 1.2 innings. 2B Termarr Johnson went 3 for 4 with his fifth home run as a Grasshopper, an RBI double, a single, a walk and three runs scored. DH Luke Brown (.247) was 1 for 4 with a walk and a single and drove in Johnson on a fielder’s choice to tie the game in the top of the ninth at 4-4. 3B Brenden Dixon (.227) went 1 for 4 with an RBI single.

Greensboro also lost 5-4 in 10 innings in the regularly scheduled game, scoring four runs despite managing only four hits and striking out 14 times. 1B Nick Cimillo (.150) went 1 for 3 with a walk and an RBI. SS Maikol Escotto (.212) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. Johnson (.230) went 0 for 2 with two walks. RHP Joshua Loeschorn (4.44) started and went 3.2 innings, giving up three runs, one earned, on four hits and a walk. RHP Eddy Yean (4.68) pitched 2.1 scoreless innings and RHP Ryan Harbin worked two scoreless frames. RHP Valentin Linarez (1-6, 4.77) gave up two runs in the bottom of the 10th to take the loss.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 73-53) lost a 6-5 decision to Fort Myers (Twins). RHP Wilber Dotel (3.09) surrendered a three-run home run and walked four in four innings. LHP Magdiel Cotto (9.00) gave up two runs on two hits, walked one and struck out two in an inning of relief. RHP Drake Fellows (9.90) gave up one hit and walked one in two innings. RHP Patrick Reilly (1-2, 6.75) walked two, struck out one and gave up the go-ahead run in the eighth for the loss. LF Rodolfo Nolasco (.218) finished 2 for 4 with a three-run home run, his 19th of the season. 2B Mitch Jebb (.303) went 2 for 4 with a two-run inside-the-park home run, a single and two stolen bases. DH Charles McAdoo (.310) went 0 for 3 with a walk and a strikeout. CF Lonnie White Jr. (.267) was 2 for 4 with a single and a double.
