RF Jase Bowen (.429) hit two doubles and had three RBIs. 1B Jacob Gonzalez (.235) hit an RBI single. CF Matt Fraizer (.260) hit a two-run single. 3B Joe Perez (.341) had an RBI single and improved his on-base streak to 24 games. RHP Aaron Shortridge (11-8, 5.12) earned the complete game win after allowing two runs in 5 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts.

RHP Derek Diamond (2-2, 6.00) took the loss after allowing eight runs on nine hits with three walks and four strikeouts in 4 2/3 innings.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 75-54) won 5-4 over Fort Myers (Twins). 2B Mitch Jebb (.299) hit a sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning for the winning run. He knocked in two runs for Bradenton. 1B Esmerlyn Valdez (.278) tripled in two runs. SS Javier Rivas (.186) also had an RBI. RHP Patrick Reilly (2-2, 5.91) allowed one hit and had two strikeouts in 1 1/3 innings to earn the win.
