Pirates shortstop Jared Triolo turns a double play over the Reds’ TJ Friedl during the ninth inning on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at PNC Park.

After having a Gold Glove winner in three of the past four seasons, the Pittsburgh Pirates have a chance to produce multiple winners in the same season.

Jared Triolo, a 2024 National League Gold Glove winner, was a repeat finalist as a utility fielder and Tommy Pham is a finalist in left field for the Rawlings fielding awards, announced Wednesday morning.

Triolo compiled 9 defensive runs saved this past season, per SportsInfo Solutions. The 27-year-old bounced all around the infield for the Pirates, playing 47 games at shortstop (minus-2 DRS), 32 games at third base (7 DRS), 24 at first base (1 DRS) and 11 at second base (3 DRS). The other NL utility fielder finalists are Miguel Rojas of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Javier Sanoja of the Miami Marlins.

The 37-year-old Pham compiled 5 DRS in 925 innings over 115 games (104 starts) in left field, where the 12th-year veteran made a series of spectacular catches. Pham is joined by fellow finalists in Mt. Lebanon alum Ian Happ of the Chicago Cubs and Kyle Stowers of the Marlins.

The Pirates have produced recent Gold Glove winners in catcher Jacob Stallings (2021), third baseman Ke’Bryan Hayes (2023) and Triolo in 2024. Hayes, who was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in late July, is again a Gold Glove finalist at third base.
